KK BOLD recently completed a project for the North Dakota Department of Health. NDDoH hired KK to build an online virtual platform called the COVID-19 Impact Wall as a place for North Dakota residents who have been affected by COVID-19, to visit and share their stories.
They wanted the community to have a place to come together and support each other. Visitors are welcome to share their personal stories about loss or survival as well as their experiences with long-haul symptoms. The site also provides a place for people to pay tribute to and recognize those who have passed away due to COVID-19. The hope is that not only will it be a place to come together to support and heal but also to become educated on the dangers of COVID-19 and to get trusted information about COVID-19 from the NDDoH.
KK equipped the website with a toolbox for users to access resources with answers to questions pertaining to COVID-19 and vaccination. It also includes a video library where users can listen and watch interviews of health providers, long haulers and people who are experiencing loss. Visitors are encouraged to react to stories on the wall by clicking a heart as a way to support others in the community and engage with those impacted by COVID-19.
The site is available in multiple languages and has a visitor counter which is currently over 55,700. — covidimpactnd.com
KK BOLD is also running a statewide campaign for the platform which includes broadcast TV as well as ads served on streaming services and an online campaign that includes Facebook, Google Display, Google Search and YouTube. The goal of the campaign is to drive traffic to the site and encourage North Dakotans to share their stories.
KK BOLD is proud to be a part in not only helping the NDDoH with their project but supporting our community and those directly and indirectly impacted by COVID-19.
