When you put a great deal of effort and enthusiasm into your work, it’s nice to be recognized for your efforts. Which is why we’re all pleased that the marketing materials created by KK BOLD for the North Dakota State Fair in 2013 received many awards at the 123rd annual convention of the International Association of Fairs and Expositions in Las Vegas.
Founded in 1885, the IAFE represents more than 1,100 fairs around the world. The North Dakota State Fair received 29 awards total at the 2013 IAFE competition, including honors in the agricultural, competitive exhibits and communication categories. Awards that involved KK BOLD’s creative services include:
Black & White Newspaper Ad
Color Newspaper Ad
Souvenirs (a t-shirt)
Overall Mobile Campaign
“KK BOLD values our long-term working relationship with the North Dakota State Fair,” said Stephanie Schoenrock, director of account services. “We’re proud of the 110,000 increase in fair attendance since we joined the effort in 2002. Everyone involved in the State Fair works very hard to produce a first-rate event experience, and KK BOLD is pleased to help the State Fair staff market it. Our creative team truly enjoys contributing to the fair’s success.”
Congratulations to the North Dakota State Fair for the many and well-deserved honors. And at KK BOLD, we’re just excited that we can continue to refer to our “award-winning marketing campaign” for the Fair for another year. It’s always good to win.
