A good website should be like a walk in the park: bright, clean, sunshiny, a breath of fresh air and not at all buggy.
The Minot Park District was recently looking to update their entire site, which included the look as well as adding several new features and a user friendly CMS. They came to KK BOLD, because that’s just the sort of thing we do.
The new Minot Park District website at minotparks.com is everything they’d asked for and hopefully more. The new features include directions to parks, shelters and trails, shelter maps, event calendars and interactive trail maps. Mobile users can map a trail, see how long it is and get directions to it from their current location using GPS capabilities. Parks and shelters also have new maps with photos of each shelter and directions to each. For the first time in Minot Park District history, users will be able to make shelter and tee time reservations, as well as pay for these items which is planned to be available next spring.
The overall package is a responsive website as green and beautiful as a visit to any of the local parks in the Minot, ND area. If you’re looking to spend a day at the park yourself, be sure to check out the new website at minotparks.com and enjoy the view.
