Norsk Høstfest, a four-day five-night festival in Minot, N.D., is 37 years old this year and for the last ten of those years KK BOLD has been alongside assisting with their marketing and advertising. Our relationship expanded this year to further the goals of the festival and reach a new festival goer.
Along with the new look for print and online ads, this year brings more changes to Høstfest marketing. KK BOLD’s media department has been working hard to utilize every advertising dollar to the fullest. Online marketing will become a larger portion of the budget along with new mobile and video options.
With the focus on attracting new visitors to the festival, our creative direction for TV and radio production has shifted. This year’s work has a more playful feel and incorporates many of the familiar personalities that visitors will encounter at Høstfest. It’s a new look for a traditional event. The new creative pieces bring the festival, one element at a time, in focus for those who are first time visitors.
The website has also been completely revamped with a new look, new navigation system and an added shopping page. The focus for the website was an intuitive design so visitors can easily find what they are looking for.
The website is troll free and ready for a great user experience on any device. It seamlessly incorporates social media channels throughout the site.
As we approach the 37th Høstfest celebration, we are helping the festival move into the future and entertain and educate another generation about Scandinavian heritage. As our new tagline says: Hostfest is coming! Are you ready?
