We all like rewards, right? Seems like it. Our good friends at Town & Country Credit Union recently launched a rewards program for their customers, and we had the privilege of coming up with an ad campaign announcing it. The work we did proved to be very rewarding for all involved. Very rewarding, indeed.
TCCU was looking to promote Star Rewards, their new rewards program which provides benefits to members who actively use their checking account. We decided to focus on the automatic ATM fee refunds and 3% cash back on debit card purchases because TCCU was seeing the most positive response with those perks. For the tagline, our creative team came up with “Get the Star Treatment!” and “Rewards so good, it’s like magic.” TCCU liked both taglines, so we got to use both interchangeably in our artwork.
The Star Rewards campaign consists of a combination of broadcast and cable TV, local radio, online video and online radio vendors, outdoor billboards, print ads and various online ads in TCCU’s target markets. We produced a radio ad, billboard designs, print and online ads and two :15 TV ads. All of which are viewable below, like little rewards for you, the reader.
Our creative team added touches of magic to each aspect of the campaign. These touches included magic words like “Alakazam,” “Presto” and “Wishes Come True,” along with some magical graphic touches like a wand and pixie dust. The end result was nothing short of magical.
