KK BOLD recently helped Prairie Knights Casino and Resort celebrate and market their 25 year celebration. On December 14, 1993 Prairie Knights officially opened their doors to the public. 25 years later the casino and resort continue to be the region’s premier entertainment destination.
The casino thanked their guests with a week-long event including lodge, food and gas specials as well as several giveaways including a $25,000 giveaway at the end of the week.
KK BOLD’s campaign for the celebration included a new graphic featuring the words, “25 Years of Excellence” which we included on each piece that lent itself to its use. The campaign covered all the bases including print, digital billboards, radio and a new branding TV spot dedicated directly to Prairie Knights’ 25 years of entertaining excellence. Our social media push for this campaign used geo-targeting to get the news out to the right people and since this promotion featured a different special or giveaway per day, we were able to tailor each post to the day’s events and boost it accordingly.
Three local radio stations broadcasted live at Prairie Knights Casino during the last three days of the event, Thursday, December 13 thru Saturday, December 15 and a local television station did a story on the 25 year celebration. Prairie Knights also hosted an event at the casino with complimentary appetizers for Knight Club members as well as a VIP dinner for casino guests and local dignitaries.
The casino has changed a lot in 25 years and KK BOLD has been along from the beginning.
Prairie Knights opened with just the casino, but just two years later they opened The Lodge and Quik Mart convenience store. In 1998 The Marina was opened with a boat ramp and 12 boat slips. The Pavilion event center, which seats over 2,300 guests, opened in 2001 as well as a lodge expansion and remodel of Quik Mart. The most recent addition was to The Lodge. It now has 200 guest rooms, a pool, waterslide, hot tub, kids’ splash area, fitness room, guest laundry and arcade. A covered parking ramp was also added exclusively for lodge guests.
As we look back on our partnership with Prairie Knights, we see 25 years of success and look forward to that continued success in the future.
