Visit Minot. That sounds a bit like an order, doesn’t it? That’s because it is. And also, it’s the new rebrand we’re helping to launch for the Minot Convention and Visitors Bureau, with a new eye-catching logo, new website and new message, We’re ready for you. That’s a lot of things to talk about. This is going to be a long article.

The city of Minot is booming right now, with a resurgent economy and a population explosion. Because of all this, the decision was made to re-brand the city’s tourism efforts to reflect Minot’s rapid transformation into a more modern city with a greater number of attractions and amenities than ever before.

Visit Minot Executive Director Wendy Howe says of the CVB’s new brand, “Every city has a convention and visitors bureau that acts as the community’s tourism agency. But what we want to communicate to the public is not only our purpose but also the spirit that drives us to connect people to Minot. Our new name aligns our identity with our purpose.”

In addition to the change in name, Visit Minot has also adopted a new message to be used in all of their future marketing efforts. We’re ready for you puts a call out to all visitors of Minot that the city is ready and eager for their arrival. “Our new message is both an invitation and a statement of fact,” says Howe. “Visitors to Minot have never had so many options to choose from. The message simply says it all.”

KK BOLD has also assisted Visit Minot in revamping their existing website, www.visitminot.org, with a new design tailored with both visitors and long-time residents in mind. The new website is meant to serve as a spotlight for all the magic the Magic City has to offer visitors. Customized trip agendas assist visitors in managing their time through the new Map Your Trip feature. And a mobile version of the website provides smartphone users a quick and easy way to locate venues and gather event information.

“We’re thrilled with the changes,” says Howe. “Your brand is the face you present to the world and we feel that Minot’s brand has never looked better.”

That makes two of us. We anticipate great things from Visit Minot’s new branding and imaging, as it drives more and more people to do just that: Visit Minot.
