KK BOLD designs new logo for Williston State College

Williston State College officially unveiled its new logo on April 5 in a community celebration. The new logo was designed by Bismarck advertising and branding agency KK BOLD.

The logo is the first step in a comprehensive branding campaign. It expresses the vitality and growth that is transforming Williston State and the Williston community.

“We sought outside perspective and creative design from KK BOLD, a well-respected design firm,” says Roxane Molinari, Director of College Relations for Williston State. “KK BOLD did a great job in getting input from our representative groups, which resulted in very strong support for the final logo design.”

According to KK BOLD graphic designer Janene Johnson, the logo works well on many levels because it represents the spirit of the college.

“Williston State wanted something bold, yet collegiate in appearance,” says Johnson. “The logo is exactly that. It boldly stands out with sidebars that capture Williston State’s positive growth, energy and future.”

“We are evolving as a college, with many exciting opportunities and possibilities,” adds Molinari.

“This logo embodies our identity now and for years to come as we move forward into the future. This logo has the staying power we need.”
