Summer is about to start heating up at the North Dakota State Fair, and KK BOLD’s 2018 NDSF marketing campaign soon will kick into high gear.
“This is our 15th year of promoting the State Fair,” said Stephanie Schoenrock, KK BOLD vice president. “We look forward to the challenge of keeping their marketing materials fresh, and we’re especially proud of the 2018 campaign. The State Fair has retained their existing logo and ‘Where Summer Shines’ tagline, but, beyond that, this campaign will have a totally new look.”
“One of the things I appreciate about the State Fair staff and the State Fair Foundation is their dedication to North Dakotans,” Schoenrock said.
“As the State Fair has evolved over time, KK BOLD has had the pleasure of helping them keep their marketing campaigns equally as current,” she said. “Each year, we work closely with State Fair staff to develop the marketing program. We analyze the media buy, trade tickets and promotions and find every opportunity to get the word out. Together, we’ve had great success breaking attendance records over the years.”
One longstanding State Fair tradition is its annual announcement of grandstand performers. This event is anticipated by fairgoers and music fans across the state.
“We’re hearing a lot of positive feedback about the 2018 performers,” Schoenrock said. “The State Fair has booked a great lineup, and fair fans are happy about it.”
Grandstand performers included in the July 20 – 28 State Fair lineup are Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley, Nickelback, Cole Swindell, Kip Moore, Cheap Trick and Michael Ray. Tickets go on sale March 16, and KK BOLD will be ready with an on-sale campaign to kick-start sales.
