Carolina Goes North

Our friends to the north at our Minot office just a got a bit more more than they were before. Carolina Patrick was recently hired as KK BOLD’s newest account executive at our Minot branch. She’s a welcome addition to the staff, and also it was very difficult not using a “Sweet Caroline” takeoff for the title of this article. Since her name is pronounced Care-ah-lean-ah, we hope she appreciates us having not done that.

Carolina was born in Uruguay. She has been speaking English since she was 8. Carolina’s family moved to the US when she was 17. Pennsylvania was where her family settled and is where she still thinks of as home.

Carolina’s husband is currently stationed at the Minot Air Force Base, and has been in the Air Force for 13 years. They have two girls, ages 4 and 18 months. They first met through a mutual high school friend during one of his visits home to PA when he was stationed in NC. They dated long distance all through her college career. They’ve lived in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, and now North Dakota.

Carolina went to college at the Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania with a BSBA double major in International Management and Marketing. She has previous marketing experience working for two other advertising agencies before coming to KK BOLD.

Carolina and her husband are both BIG Steelers fans (emphasis on the BIG from her), and they both enjoy the snow MUCH better than the heat, which means they’ve found the right state to be living in. “It’s almost October,” Carolina says, “It shouldn’t be this hot in ND!” Just wait. That’ll change.

We welcome Carolina to the team and are very pleased to have someone of her experience and knowledge working for us. We’re expecting great things from Carolina and we expect our clients will be as pleased with her as we are. We also suggest she invests in a sturdy snow shovel, for later in the year when she starts to regret having wanted it to snow.

Congrats to Carolina! And did you have to be a double major in college: you make the rest of us seem so lazy. 🙂
